I'm a student of Linda Hendrickson's and have been learning a variety of techniques from tablet weaving to ply-splitting. I really enjoy ply-splitting because of its portability. I made this leash from extra long 4-ply cords of pearl cotton, and experimented with patterns all the way. I thought at first that the cords would be difficult to work with at that length - getting knotted or tangled - but the project went very smoothly. The leash is about 7 feet long.
